Main extended their unbeaten run to 4 matches with a disappointing 4th consecutive draw.
Main looked most like breaking the deadlock as early as the 7th minute when Scott Somerville played the ball to Ashley Longstaff but his shot was pushed behind by Danny Trueman in the visitors goal.
Longstaff went close again in the tenth minute when he shot wide after Jermaine Springer blocked Somerville’s shot.
Thackley’s first chance fell to Danny Backhouse in the sixteenth minute but he fired his long range shot well wide of the Main goal.
Longstaff had the ball in the visitors’ net on the half hour mark when he side footed home following Luke Fletcher’s ball forward, but the referees assistant had his flag up for offside.
Trueman pulled off a great save on the stroke of half time when he threw himself to his left to deny Longstaff who, on this occasion, had beaten the offside trap.
Main started the second half as they did the first with Jordan Stock crossing from deep but Jerome White         

managed to head the ball away from danger as Somerville closed in for a free header at the back post.
Longstaff had his 50th-minute shot tipped over the crossbar by Trueman but the referee gave a goal kick.
At the other end, Liam Richardson was called into action, palming Dave Woffenden’s free kick out for a corner in the sixty third minute.
For Main, Russ Hobson crashed his header against the bar from Liam Kay’s corner in the sixty seventh minute before Richardson again kept Main in the game late on when Dean Mitchell raced clear on goal and fired a shot towards goal, the Main ‘keeper pulling off a world class save, tipping the ball round the post and out for a corner.
