Main’s losing run was halted with a 1-1 home draw with Winterton Rangers to gain a well earned point.
Again, management duo Steve Adams and Ian Dring brought in new signings: winger Abdul Ahmed from Staveley MW was given a starting debut and Joe Austin, signed from Hallam FC, was on the bench.
Main were first to show in the 9th minute with Jon Bownes heading wide in the Rangers box following Jon Thompson's long throw in, and striker Rob Branagan headed wide from Tom Jones' corner from the left.
Rangers Liam Wilkin had a shot blocked in the 14th minute and, at the other end, Lee Whittington got on the end of a long clearance but shot straight at 'keeper Jordan Bradshaw.
Rangers striker Jack Cross forced a good save from Main 'keeper Jamie Bailey and then Bailey kept out a shot from Wilkin in the box.
In the 31st minute, Main took the lead when Branagan found Lee Whittington wide on the left and his cross was met by Paul Lavender who smashed home a bullet header from 6 yards.
A minute later, Lee Whittington had a low 25 yard shot saved before Wilkin had a couple of headers off target for Rangers and Bradshaw gathered at the 2nd attempt from Lee Whittington's shot in the box.

A minute after the break it was all square when Andy Walkden headed in from close range following Graeme Severn's ball into the Main box.
Winterton then enjoyed a period of pressure with Wilkin and Ben Hunter shooting wide and James O'Neill having a couple of efforts saved by Bailey.
Wilkin again shot wide in the 64th minute and O'Neill had another shot saved.
Rangers substitute Danny Barlow shot into the side netting before Bailey produced a brilliant save by turning Wilkin's shot around the post. From the resulting corner, Scott Pickles headed over.
Bownes shot just wide for Main in the 76th minute and, with 9 minutes remaining, Bailey produced another good stop to deny Wilkin.
In the 87th minute, Main were on the end of poor refereeing decision when Bradshaw dropped the ball in the box under a Lee Whittington challenge and after the winger closed in on goal the play was pulled back for a foul on the 'keeper.
