A well earned 1-1 draw at table topping Parkgate kept Main's unbeaten run going into double figures.
Dave Gleeson came into defence in place of the unavailable Danny Reilly with Chris Wood replacing Scott Whittington who was back on the bench with fit again Tom Jones.
'Gate had an early chance that Main 'keeper Jamie Bailey dealt with from Gaz Clayton's free kick into the box and Nathan Swindells shot wide.
Bailey then showed bravery by diving at the feet of Janni Lipka following Swindells’ knock down.
Then, Bailey easily saved Clayton' s low free kick before, in the 26th minute, Main opened the scoring when Jon Bownes found Rob Branagan inside the box and his low square pass went into the path of striker Ollie Warren who smashed the ball in from close range.
Seven minutes later, Warren went on a run from his own half but his deflected shot was saved by 'Gate 'keeper Jim Jenkinson.
The home side pushed forward in search of an opening and Will Senior had a long range shot, Luke Fletcher tested Bailey with a long range effort and Senior's header from a Clayton free kick was saved.
In first half stoppage time both sides went close: Clayton's shot was pushed around the post by Bailey and Jenkinson kept out Warren's header from Branagan's cross from the right.
Four minutes after the break, 'Gate grabbed an equaliser when Swindells burst into the box and               

squared the ball to striker Ash Worsfold whose shot from 6 yards beat Bailey.
'Gate defender Matt Griffin was off target on a couple of occasions from corners from the right and, on the hour Branagan shot wide for Main.
After 73 minutes Bownes forced Jenkinson into a good save with a shot from inside the box that the 'Gate 'keeper could only parry and, from the rebound Bownes’ follow up went wide.
A minute later Main were down to 10 men when captain Adam Shepherd was sent off for second bookable foul on Clayton and, from the free kick, Bailey easily saved Senior's headed effort.
Lippka headed wide in the 83rd minute and, a minute later, Griffin's header was cleared off the line by Paul Lavender.
With 3 minutes remaining, Main substitute Danny Jones wasted a glorious chance by shooting wide inside the box after getting on the end of Bownes' defence  splitting through ball.
In time added on Clayton shot wide and Griffin was off target again with a header from corner.
